The moment Nana Addo made the construction of a Cathedral top priority before he even got sworn in that morning, some of us began to doubt his declared intent of fighting to become president. Couple that with his fake approach in dealing with pertinent issues like galamsey, add to that his don't-care attitude towards sanitation and environmental health etc plus his lies citing COVID as an excuse for the fiscal economic mess, then multiply those with his uniquely nepotistic approach to governance.
Add on his stiff-necked behaviour; his pretentious acts and rudeness towards traditional leaders, as well as his stone-hearted arrogance and the picture begins to emerge.
If in doubt, go back and replay VP Bawumia’s latest policy declaration and listen good for clarity. There obviously was rift between him and the president and his inner circle crannies ruling over the economy. Poor man wasn’t pleased by the gagging and dictatorial nonsense within the confines of the Jubilee House but he ‘stupidly’ kept his cool and left the public in the dark till now that he’s been chosen as presidential candidate by his party’s mandate. Really? Cash flew in about like cola leaves drop in harmattan.
This president is fake as fake can be described. His fork-tongue on pan-Africa issues etc proves that. This president is more of a globalist stooge than one who really cares about domestic interests and relevant devepments for the country. One village, one dam... My foot, where are the damn dams! Meanwhile galamsey is still on-going.
Well done, Nana! Pack up, go back home and enjoy your state issued incentives, whiles the people rot in poverty and lack. Diaspora will keep cushioning them with remittances, so you may chill.

Dr.Nkrumah would not have allowed the FREE SPEECH. This was his shortcoming. He forgot that, as the president, he was a custodian of resources which belonged to Ghanaians and required him to account to the people, and which called for criticism from Ghanaians.
All the destructive critics would have been languishing in jail in Nsawam prison. One could praise him only! We should be thankful for the freedom of speech. At least, Ghana is moving forward with democracy!
Most of you do not know about Nkrumah's YOUNG PIONEERS who could report anybody who spoke ill of him, including their parents, to the authorities to be punished and silenced forever.
All the efforts to tarnish the image of Dr. Bawumiah ( a decent man), because of your stomach politics will not succeed.
If one really understands the principles of leadership, then the honourable banker/economist should be left out of praises or condemnation of the Nana Akuffo-Addo government.
Whatever assignment that Dr. Bawuwiah has undertaken was done for and on behalf of the leader, successful or otherwise. As a result, the good deeds and bad ones as well are for the leader, Nana Addo-Danquah Akuffo-Addo.
Do not expose yourself to ridicule by persistently linking him to the president.
Touching on the impending presidential election, one should not hesitate to vote for Dr. Bawumia if they really love Ghana.
Mr. Mahama has been in leadership. We know how he behaved. All the finger pointing about corruption that he is always sweeping under the carpet as if Ghanaians will forget about them. We need explanations for all the accusations levelled against him, before election day.
Ghana is bedeviled with corruption (deliberate stealing?). Therefore, any president, past or present, who has had any suspicion of corruption should NEVER go near the presidency again.
Ghana is a land flowing with milk and honey. It is the rampant stealing by POLITICIANS, especially, which is the cause of our predicament.
Do we have to kill anybody for corruption? No!
All what we need is a strong legal system which will deter the politicians from stealing: honest criminal investigators, selfless judges, an efficient legal system and diligent and smart prosecutors.

Why are you guys trying so hard to distance Nana's mess from Bawumia, but at the same time associate his "success" with Bawumia?. They are all in this together.

The writer couldn't have said it any better, our level of hypocrisy in this country is the reason Ghana is not developing. Look at the magnitude of scandals and how this government have finished this country, to the extent that our state resources and taxes have been collateralized for decades in order to get loans and spend today. This means that any future government will not get funds from our resources and taxes for developmental projects. Yet we are quiet. Well done to the writer.
