Nigerian comedian, Basket Mouth lays mum to rest

In October 2016, Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, popular known by the stage name, Basketmouth announced via social media the loss of his beloved mother.

In a post on Instagram, he wrote;

“Last night my angel left me, my first love stopped breathing and it’s the deepest pain I’ve ever felt. I love you for every sacrifice you made to make me the man I am today, I’ve loved you through the tough times. I’ve loved you through happier days and all I can say at this point is that I will love you forever. I will miss you mummy.”

Barely a month after the passing and with all the pain in the heart, the comedian has given the mother a befitting burial. This happened over the weekend.

In a post, Basket Mouth said, ”

Goodbye Mum, you’ll live in our hearts forever.”
