Top musicians to declare support for Nana Akufo-Addo next week

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s hope of winning the December 7 polls to become the next president has received a massive boost.

Fifteen well-known musicians and two movie stars are billed to declare their unflinching support for the NPP presidential candidate, latest by next week in Accra.

Fourteen of the musicians are based in Accra, with one of them living in Kumasi. One of the movie icons stays in Kumasi and the other one also lives in Accra.

One of the musicians who demanded anonymity told BEATWAVES that they have decided to campaign vigorously for Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of the elections because he is the best among all the presidential candidates. He added that the names of the musicians and movie stars would be made public next week during the press conference.

The musician who is currently in Kumasi stated that Nana Akufo-Addo’s campaign message of transforming Ghana and ending poverty are credible and attainable, hence their decision to offer him their unalloyed support.

According to him, all the 17 musicians and movie stars would organise a mammoth press conference in Accra next week, where they would openly declare their support for Nana Akufo-Addo.

He added that he and his group after the press conference to declare their support for Nana Addo, they would then on travel to the various parts of the country where they would campaign in order to woo more voters for Nana Akufo-Addo to help him to become Ghana’s next president.
