Official Kwame has given a detailed account of events that took place at the Coke Studio in Nairobi, Kenya.

YFM’s Urban Africana show host, represented YFM in Nairobi last weekend for the Coke Studio, interacted with Trey Songz, Stonebwoy and Yemi Alade among other artists across the continent as the season 4 of the Coke Studio was launched.

According to Official Kwame, the trip was an opportunity to create links and make inroads in the industry. Recounting his experience during the trip, Official Kwame said the Coke Studio crew was delighted about the creativity exhibited by most Ghanaian acts, especially Stonebwoy, with regard to their ease and flow shown when other foreign artistes come to work with them.

“The Coke Studio crew has been singing praises about Stonebwoy’s creativity and how a lot of foreign artists that come to meet our Ghanaian artists have a certain ease and flow when they are working. That includes effortless creativity exhibited by Ghana’s Feli Nuna, VGMA artist of the Year E.L and obviously Stonebwoy,” he stated.

However Official Kwame also hinted that Stonebwoy managed to get a collaboration with Trey Songz, Yemi Alade, Vanessa Mdee and Sauti Sol.

“Stonebwoy has two songs with Trey Songz (one is a cover and the other is an original), and Stonebwoy will also be collaborating with Yemi Alade and Vanessa Mdee. The BET award winning act will also release a new song with Sauti Sol,” he added.

This means that the ‘Mightylele’ hitmaker was busy working his way up the globe during his trip to the Coke Studio in Nairobi.
