I went through hell before my stardom – Gospel musician Cindy Thompson

Legendary gospel artiste, Cindy Thompson in a one-on-one session with Accra FM’s Gospel 360 entertainment show host, Andy Favoured, has told the world some of the difficult times she has been through.

The musician on last Sunday’s edition of the gospel entertainment show narrated some of the unpleasant and prolonged experience she faced before she became a star.

According to her, the agony helped her to write songs which catapulted her to be a public figure. She named her hit song, “Awurade Kasa” as one of the many songs she wrote due to the tribulations she was facing at the time.

Cindy Thompson has released hit songs like “Makokyem Nyame”, Awurade Wo Ne Made Nyina”, “Kwankyerefo Jesus”, “Awanwan Do” and many others.
