Patrick Duncan joins Alvin Slaughter for Ghana’s ultimate praise concert

South African gospel music star, Patrick Duncan, has told Starr Entertainment he cannot wait to usher Ghanaians into the presence of God as they give thanks for his mercies in 2014.

The Pindukulu hitmaker will join American gospel music superstar Alvin Slaughter, and Ghanaian musicians Joe Beecham, Tagoe Sisters, Amy Newman, Danny Nettey, OJ, No Tribe, Koda and Joe Mettle live at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, 27th December.

Duncan who was on the Starr Entertainment News Segment of the Starr Drive with Bola Ray said it was important people appreciate the need to give thanks to the maker even in the face of challenges.

“The devil blinds you to what God has done. He makes you think that God hasn’t done nothing for you ... Our responsibility is to find out what he has done and you give thanks,” he noted.

The Kliptown Johannesburg-born said he is particularly excited about the opportunity to minister in Ghana because it affords him the opportunity to share the stage with renowned international gospel act, Alvin Slaughter.

“It’s so awesome…I, I, I don’t know,” he muttered awestricken. “It’s only just the favour of God that has brought us thus far to be able to share the stage with such a great man of God. He’s been around for a while and I want to learn from him there is so much he can share with us and also just that atmosphere to be in his presence. Yes, he is a man of God and the most important thing is he’s come a long way and I just want to know ‘how did you remain stable?’ and so that atmosphere, I’m excited to be there as everyone else”.

“Our responsibility is to get the people into the presence of God.”

The free concert, which is powered by Starr FM starts at 4pm, according to organisers, God’s Family Ministries.
