Fast & Furious 7 gets official title

Fast & Furious fans will get the chance to ask the film's stars questions at a live event next month.

Fast & Furious 7 producers have announced the film's official title.

Universal is preparing for the 2015 premiere of the action flick, whose star, Paul Walker, died in a fiery crash unrelated to the film last year.

And studio executives announced the news on the movie's Facebook page Sunday, calling it Furious 7.

Executives also announced a live event to unveil the film's trailer November 1, Variety reports.

The trailer will stream from Universal Studios in Los Angeles at noon local time, and will appear on the Facebook page for Furious 7 as well as on E!, according to the outlet.

Stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez are also expected to be on hand, with fans given the ability to ask the pair and other members of the cast their questions using #AskFurious7 online.

"Starting today, you can submit questions for Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Jason Statham to be answered at the live event," the spokesperson wrote. "Go to Instagram and submit a video, asking your favorite Fast & Furious star your question while using the hashtag #AskFurious7."

Fans can also ask questions via Facebook.

"For our extended FAST & FURIOUS family, we have set out to make the very best movie yet," the message continued in part. "We are excited to continue our journey together."

Behind-the-scenes videos are also slated for release each day in the week prior to the event.

The first video, released on Sunday, shows fast cuts of Paul and his co-stars as actor Tyrese pays tribute to fans in a voiceover.

Tickets to the event will be available beginning Monday via Furious 7's social media pages.

The film, directed by James Wan, is scheduled to premiere in April 2015.
