“Lawyer Maurice Ampaw is dying for celebrity status” – A-plus

Ghanaian musician and comedian, Kwame Asare Obeng, A-plus has labelled private legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw as a man craving for attention.

In an interview with Abrantepa on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch over Lawyer Maurice Ampaw’s intended one million Ghana cedis lawsuit against him, the outspoken musician said he was ready to face the lawyer in court.

Adding that he never said anything against the lawyer except expressing his honest opinion about him.

“I still stand by the fact that I believe Maurice Ampaw is not a good lawyer. He can go to court because I have said so. I’m not a good musician. That’s what some people think. It doesn’t change anything. I think lawyer Maurice Ampaw is not a good lawyer. He is just an attention seeker,” he said.

“Go and check his Facebook page. He has written that his fans should wait and that he is going to have a press conference. A lawyer who has fans… Does he play football or he plays ampe?” A-Plus questioned.

Asked if there was anything wrong with Lawyer Ampaw having fans, A-Plus replied, “That man is dying for celebrity status.”

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has threatened to sue the controversial musician for a publication the musician made on Facebook about him which he felt sought to defame and question his credibility as a lawyer.
