Popular Ghanaian models, Zion Benjamin and Shirley S. Anku came out the overall Best Male Model & Female Model at the just ended 2013 edition of the first Ghana Models Awards.
The award ceremony was held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra recently to celebrate hard work in the rising Ghana’s fashion and modeling industry.
The successful show paraded a number of models in the modeling and fashion industry.
Prince Ibrahim won the Most Promising Model of the Year (Male) while popular face, Joycelyn Nketia took home the Bikini/Lingerie Model of the Year (Female) award.
A number of Ghanaian celebrities who had a stint with modeling years ago made it to the nomination list this year but none of them was found on the winners’ list.

Most Promising Model of the Year (Female) – Grace Sarfo
Most Promising Model of the Year (Male) – Prince Ibrahim
Bikini/Lingerie Model of the Year (Female) – Joycelyn Nketia
Underwear Model of the Year (Male) – Nana Adonteng
Plus Size Model of the Year (Female) – Audrey Dodoo
Most Promising Model Agency of the Year – Leo Models Agency
