Hiplifer Castro following footsteps of Lord Kenya says ‘I’ll be a pastor soon’

One of Ghana’s finest DJ, Samuel Nartey, popularly known as DJ Awanna has disclosed that most Gospel musicians have good songs but don’t make the headlines because they have bad interpersonal relationship. DJ Awanna was speaking on Hitz FM’s Cruise Control “Hang Out” segment hosted by Kwame B when the issue of born again and switching from secular songs to Gospel cropped up.

According to DJ Awanna most secular musicians might have received their “calling” but their attitude makes it difficult to fulfill such calling. Hip life artiste, Theopholius Tagoe, popularly known as Castro also revealed his dream of becoming a pastor.

According to him, he waiting for God’s ‘calling’ since he believes he was born to serve and worship the most high with his song ministration. Should that happen, Castro will join the likes of KK Kabobo, Lord Kenya and Ofori Amposah who have switched from secular music to Gospel.**
