Black Stars Players To Storm This Year’s Kwahu Easter Festival

Black Stars players will next month storm Kwahu as the chiefs and people celebrate this year’s Easter festivities. Partnered by Adom FM the Kwahu Easter Festival has always been celebrated to mark the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This festive occasion has become etched in the country's annual entertainment calendar, and characterized by plenty of food to eat, music and dancing during the Easter festive occasion.

The expectation is once again high and all roads will lead to the eastern region for the Easter festivities. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Adom News’ Kofi Adomah, Ghana’s newly outdoored Football Tourism Ambassador, Laryea Kingson who plays for Dutch side Vitesse Anheim, said Ghana has a lot to gain if soccer tourism in the country is encouraged.

Laryea noted that Ghana has a lot to offer the world and Africa in particular with her current position as the number one soccer nation in Africa.

Laryea Kinson told Adom News in an interview that he and his friends will attend this year’s Kwahu Easter Festival. ‘In fact I have spoken to Michael Essien, Stephen Appiah and Suley Muntary and they have all assured me of coming and we will make it big this year” he said.

The official song for this year’s Kwahu Festival is Five-Five’s hit track “Mukye baya”.

On her part the Minister for Tourism Akua Sena Dansua said this year’s celebration will see much improvement on last year’s celebration. According to her, the most interesting part will be the paragliding which will be held from the 22 to the 26 of April
