Man caught having sex with goat

Sunyani, Oct 18, GNA- Yakubu Seidu, an electrician, was on Tuesday arraigned before a magistrate court in Sunyani for having sexual intercourse with a nanny goat at Asuokwaa, near New Dormaa in Sunyani Municipality.
He pleaded guilty to the charge of unnatural carnal knowledge and was convicted on his own plea but sentence was deferred till October 31. Mr Albert Zoogah, presiding judge, ordered the police to send the accused to the Psychiatric Department of the Regional Hospital in Sunyani to check if he is a normal person.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Gilbert Adayuga told the court that on October 8, the complainant in the case tied the goat, which had just delivered at his residence to feed and left for church.
The prosecutor said on his return from church he heard an unusual where the animal was and when he approached the scene to verify, he saw Seidu on top of the goat with his trousers pulled down.
The complainant raised an alarm and people helped to arrest him. During interrogation at the police station, Seidu admitted having had sex with the animal and asked for forgiveness.
