We don’t sing for fame - Adehyi’ma

Gospel musicians, Adehyi’ma have hinted that the aim of their music is to preach the word and not for fame.

The one-time winners of the Adom FM’s Gospel Industry Award in 2011 believed that they have become successful as a result of their music and not because of fame as being purported.

The Gospel musicians made these revelations on Hitz FM’s entertainment program, the scoop.

“Our focus of singing gospel music is not because we want to be famous but because we just love doing the works of God and preaching the word through our music.

Adehyi’ma added that “anyone at all can sing so it's your responsibility to focus on the talent God has given you rather than wanting to become a star.

“In fact, Adehyi’ma is here to stay. People said lots of things about us when we took a break. They said, one of us had died, they said we had split. My sister got pregnant and had to stay back and cater for her new born baby.

“All those rumors are not true. We are always together” they indicated.

Adehyi’ma is a gospel music group of three sisters who emerged in the early 2000’s on Adom FM’s live worship program but took a break after picking an award at Adom FM’s gospel Industry Award in 2011.
