Veteran Highlife Stars To Shake Oguaa

Tonight, a concert featuring veterans of Ghana Highlife music is bound to make historic appearances at this year’s Pan-African Historic Theatre Festival, (PANAFEST).

Among the artistes earmarked for tonight’s concert at the Cape-Coast Centre for National Culture are C.K. Mann, Pat Thomas, Paapa Yankson, and Ebo Taylor backed by the G.B.C band and the Western Diamonds.The guest artiste is the Jorome man, Victor Uwaifo from Nigeria.

Mr Moses Foe Amoani,the Co-ordinator of the Highlife Foundation, which is organising the event as part of activites marking this year’s PANAFEST, said “the programme has been designed to give our brothers and sisters from the Diaspora a taste of authentic African sounds that Ghanaians can be identified with”.
