Van Vicker has long had the passion to do entertainment, taking him back to his radio and TV days; then the movies and now a boss of his own with ‘Sky & Orange’; under this company, he has produced a couple of movies and now comes his latest, THE HANDS OF TIME.

The movie is about two sisters, Dantee and Phyll who got separated when a wealthy man adopted Phyll as his only child. He willed everything he had including his multinational insurance company to her on his dying bed. Kwabena, the husband of Phyll was aware of her father’s wealth and had his own plans. The rest is for you to find out.

The movie was launched yesterday, Friday at the Silverbird Cinemas to the Press. This was done in regards to get the views and comments, the flaws and as well the thumbs up from the media before it is fully unveiled to the public. The entire technical crew was present as well as Van Vicker. The date for public view will be the 3rd of August at the Silverbird Cinemas.

After the viewing, the ace actor used the day to clarify on some issues with the press, he was quizzed about his relationship with his fellow actors with specification on names like Majid Mitchel, John Dumelo and Frank Arthus, he responded, ‘they are all doing fine individually both in and outside Ghana, they are my colleagues and we support each other. The spirit of being united is for us to achieve higher and put Ghana first on the map’.

He hit on the essence of Africans appreciating their own products; he stressed as well that movie makers should go the sophisticated way in reaching out to their fans, in other words imploring all movie makers to work effectively on the distribution and marketing strategies of the movies, because that is where more monotony has eaten deep into the industry.

We wish the award winning Ghanaian success in his passion. ***
