After thirteen (13) grueling weeks with twelve (12) upcoming musicians, twenty-year (20) old Isaac Akufo also known as Koo Ntakara emerged the winner of the second edition of the MTN Hitmaker music reality show after battling three other finalists; Cano Z (popularly known as Volta Djata), Kofi Korea and K-Bee.

His triumph earned him GHC100.000.00 plus a recording and management deal. According to the Koforidua born artiste, he started showing interest in music at a young age of eight (8).

His interest in music grew drastically to the extent of him joining other young guys with similar dreams on the streets of Jackson Park in Koforidua to battle each other. This was to find out which of them had rap innate in him.

His creativity and ability to rap distinguished him from the others, so "by God's Grace" he said as a Good Samaritan discovered him and recorded his first song titled "Mframa Kesie" whiles in Junior High School 2.

After, he felt the urge to continue with music, after all there was something in him that pushed him to "prove" and take music seriously.

Musically, Koo Ntakara takes inspiration from rap veteran Obrafour. He describes him as someone he would like to work with. He's also a big fan of rapper Eminem. He hopes to share the same stage soon with Eminem. But like they say, time will tell.

Many tipped the Tema based rapper, Kofi Korea for the ultimate but Koo Ntakara thinks otherwise. During the finals, he said his biggest threat on the night was K-Bee describing him as an artiste who had his own style.
