The promoters, artistes’ confusion must stop

Until event promoters and artistes as well as their managers come to the realization that they need each other, our business in the showbiz industry will always be in a state of confusion.

What seems to be trending on social media currently is a story about musicians Joey B, Medikal and event promoter Pappa Loggy. Whilst Medikal seems to be calling the attention of fans and the general public to effect the arrest of Loggy because of fraud, Papa Loggy is also accusing the musicians for being lazy and childish in other news, therefore their flopped show.

What started as a good business relationship has now turned sour because of misunderstanding among these parties and it does not look good for all the parties. It is mind boggling that people in our entertainment industry do not start healthy business relationship and end it healthily or smoothly. People will start well and end with cutlasses and machetes.

Why can`t we see the bigger picture as an industry so we can together achieve success in all our doing. We at Flex newspaper would like to urge all stakeholders in our entertainment industry to respect each others contribution and forge ahead for a profitable industry instead of the one man show we see around us all of the time. Let peace prevail Loggy, Medikal and Joey B please.
