Teen arrested for impersonating Wizkid

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 19 years old female for defrauding two people of over N10 million , after impersonating Star Boy Entertainment singer, Wizkid.

This follows a recent scandal where a show promoting agency, Humble Entertainment, criticized Wizkid for failing to perform at a London concert after being paid.

According to reports, the lady opened a social media account with Wizkid’s name and picture, which she used in getting her victims.

The singer reported the matter to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, who swiftly swung into action and found the culprit.
