TV3 promotes senior management personnel

Accra, Sept. 6 GNA - The Management of TV3 Network Limited on Wednesday announced promotions of six management personnel in a bid to strengthen the management team of the Company.

A statement signed by Mr Syed Ahmed Zaidi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TV3 Network Limited, said the promotion followed a half-year inter-departmental review of the Company's performance. The statement said the six senior managers have been re-designated in this capacity build-up. The promotions take effect from September 1, 2006.

The three former General Managers of the company, Mr Ato Afful, Marketing and Brand Management, Mr Robert Kofi Nyantakyi, News and Current Affairs and Mr Roland Adjetunmobi, Finance, have been promoted to the levels of Directors for their respective departments and assigned additional responsibilities.

The statement said Mr Afful, Director, Marketing and Brands Management would have oversight responsibility for two production departments, Sports, and Magazine and Entertainment. Mr Adjetunmobi, Director of Finance, will in addition to the Finance Department, have further ambit over the newly instituted Internal Audit Unit, while Mr Nyantakyi continues to oversee the News and Current Affairs Department.

The statement said three senior managers have been upgraded to the level General Managers.

They are Nana Sanwu Kutin Mensah, GM Marketing; Mr Augustus B. Dickson, GM Engineering Services, with supervisory responsibility for the IT Unit and Mrs Ruby Ntiri Opoku, GM, Human Resource and Administration.
