Spacefon Holds Raffle Draw

The managing director of Scancom Ghana Ltd, Mr. Ahmed Farrouk, has said that Spacefon is going to add seven additional service coverage areas to existing ones, at the draw of the Spacefon snap-card promotion borne by Spacefon and Prestige Motors Ltd.

Mr. Farrouk said there is more to come for subscribers of Spacefon come its sixth anniversary this November.

In an interview with The Chronicle, the director said this draw was of marketing strategy for new subscribers.

He said it was also to let the general public know that there was reduction in prices and for those who are in dilemma to know that Spacefon is the better choice.

The director expatiated that there is the need to reward subscribers, adding that the old subscribers will have their turn as a result.

Mr. Yaw Kwakye, the marketing manager of Prestige Motors, also said the draw was just to show customers that Prestige and Spacefon care about them and that is why they should find it necessary to join Spacefon.

He further indicated that the over 19,000 Euros, 2002 European-adjudged car of the year, Peugeot 307, was given Spacefon for the draw because of the similarity with customer services. He concluded that it was given to Spacefon with a big discount, saying "no strings attached."

Miss Issifu Salamatu of Bolgatanga r won the draw, which was done by a hand-picked driver, Mr. Kwashi Vuvor, on the streets of Osu by Kwame Sefa-Kayi, Master of Ceremonies for the occasion.
