Southern Belt of Miss Ghana 2012 Auditions gets under way, Majid & Nana Ama are Judges

It has been a very long day for the organizers of the third and final auditions for the Southern belt selection of contestants for this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant taking place at the exotic Golden Tulip in Accra.

After a long wait at the venue of the audition, the contestants have been unveiled to meet their judging panel for the period, Majid Mitchel, one of Africa’s finest screen actors and Nana Ama Anamoah, a TV hostess. Both have been joined by professional photographer Barrak El- Mahmoud and Inna Mariam Patty of Exclusive Events Ghana.

The audition is in quest to get eight finalists who will make it to the final house alongside the already gotten twelve representations from Ashanti, Eastern, Brong Ahafo Regions, Northern Region, Upper East and Upper West region.

The Southern belt which is seeing about 200 ladies from Greater Accra Region, Western Region and Volta Region all contesting to be part of the final eight to sum total 20 ladies for the final.

This year’s finals takes place in September. It is being held under the theme “Evolution of Beauty”.

In all, 20 finalists will be selected across the three main belts and properly groomed over an exciting reality show. There will be no weekly evictions, Exclusive Events Ghana has said.**
