Quarrel of two defiled girls land two elderly men in jail

Aflao, April 18, GNA - A quarrel between two under-age girls at the R.C. A and B Basic schools at Apeyime at Aflao, during which they accused each other of being promiscuous has landed two elderly men in jail.

Michael Ashiagbor, alias Jaja, a 56-year -old magician and a 55-year old watchman, Moses Kobla Setsoafia were jailed 16 years each by an Aflao Circuit Court for defilement.

Ashiagbor pleaded not guilty while Setsoafia pleaded guilty. The two were accused of taken advantage of the proximity of their homes to the two schools to defile the pupils who are between eight and 10 years.

Ms Josephine Azukah, Police Chief Inspector at Aflao told the court presided over by Mr Francis Obiri that the two trick their victims to their homes where they defile them. Ms Azukah said the fall out between the two pupils on February 19 this year, led to their interrogation by their class teacher, who prompted their parents and the school authorities about the sexual abuse, leading to the arrest of the convicts.
