Palmer-Buckle is 66 years today

Archbishop Gabriel Charles Palmer-Buckle is 66 years today (Wednesday June 15). He was born on this day in 1950.

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra was born in Axim, in the Western Region, together with six brothers and five sisters.

He was educated in the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary in Ghana and also attended the Pontifical Urban University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and another in Sacred Theology.

Archbishop Palmer-Buckle holds a Doctorate Degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. He had also been a chaplain and teacher at both the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary and at Achimota School.

He is revered in Ghana’s religious and political circles.
