Oguaahene walks to raise awareness about PANAFEST

Cape Coast, July 3, GNA - The Oguaahene, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II and other citizens on Monday joined members of six Keep Fit Clubs in the Cape Coast Municipality on a two-hour Walk to raise awareness about the forthcoming Pan-African-Historical Theatre Festival (PANAFEST) and Emancipation Day celebrations.

The Keep Fit Clubs included the Jackson, Unity, Gye Nyame Emintsemadze, Ma Oye Dzen ma Odasanyi, Salvation and King Aggrey Clubs. Osabarima Atta later commended the Clubs for participating in the Walk and appealed to them to also participate fully in communal activities of the Municipality.

Rabbi Kohain Halevi, Executive Secretary of the PANAFEST Foundation told the GNA Sports that the 10 kilometre Walk was organized by the Secretariat in conjunction with the Central Regional Sports Council to sensitize and draw the people's attention about the forthcoming activities of the PANAFEST.
