Luther joins the league of successful Ghanaian musicians with new name ‘Luta’

Over the years, many celebrated Ghanaian musicians have changed their names to either Suite their act or to position themselves for the international market as names are impactful on success or otherwise of an art.

Change of name is seen as a strategic way to reposition an artist brand and to stay afresh in the minds and on the lips of patrons and fans – Afro-Pop/Reggae artiste Luther in the same vain has rebranded from Luther to LUTA.

In an interview with LUTA, he said “I’m a different person now. Though people know me very well with the former brand and label name Luther (LuuGang), I have developed significantly and my team and I are bringing a lot to corporate Ghana and various stakeholders in the entertainment industry locally and internationally. Luta noted that, his new name takes effect from January 16, 2018 of which the public is urged to note. U
As part of the now international artiste’s rebranding, he has gained a new management body (Purple Soul Multimedia) which has the task to take his career further.

According to the Afro-Pop/R&B artiste, the world should look forward to his first single yet to conquer airwaves on 1st February, 2018.
The changes of names have impacted the career of arts in the past positively and we wish Luta all the best as he dares to make this move in the quest to open up his prospects to the world.
