JAY-Z to play in Ghana

Rap mogul JAY-Z will launch his comeback tour in Poland next month (09 SEP 06), which will also see him perform in Ghana. The rapper has confirmed dates for a seven-week world tour to spread awareness of the world's water crisis.

Shows start in Krakow, Poland and wrap up at the end of October (06) in Melbourne, Australia. The Def Jam Records president will prepare for his awareness tour with a performance at New York's Fashion Rocks charity show on 7 September (06).

His 30 dates around the globe include stop-offs in Greece, England, Ireland, France, Spain, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa.
