Though he owns a mega church in Croydon, London yet veteran Highlife musician, Smart Nkansah says he is waiting for God’s call.

“Though people call me ‘Pastor’ however I’m still waiting on God to call me into the ministry.”

In an interview with Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5FM Saturday, Smart stated that his past musical records indicated that he did both secular and gospel songs.

He was however amazed that some Men of God brand ‘Bandsmen’ as secular musicians.

“When you trace my past records I do both secular and gospel music. Most pastors brand bandsmen as worldly musicians but it’s wrong since they (Bandsmen) play a major role in advising the public.”

When asked if he was disappointed for choosing music as a career, he said “I’m not disappointed in doing music and I will never lose hope too, presently my aim is to train this young highlife generation to blend the both past and present rhythm of highlife.”

Known for his splendid performances on stage, Smart inculcated his style of highlife which many have embraced.
