Vibrant Ghanaian super star Prince David Osei has vehemently debunked the speculation that he is no more relevant in the glamour movies. However, according to him he still remains relevant so far as the Ghanaian movie industry is concerned.

Barely a week after Prince David announced his presence in Kumasi to shoot his second twi movie, there were some insinuations in the rumor mill that he had gone broke. The tale-bearers alleged that his financial situation is the reason he has decided to join the local front.

As is the usual practice of getting the facts straight from the horse’s mouth, we reached out to the vibrant actor and he refuted the story.

In his words; ‘With regards to the rumor, you know i do my own stuff. I have my production house and have travelled a lot. Now US is my base. Hollywood is my target, so the fact that I'm in Kumasi doesn’t mean I'm broke. I’m an entertainer and must serve my fan base.’

‘I just returned from the US to do a project in Techiman, when Van hooked me up with Frank for this to happen, so I'm not one of those actors who are hungry.’

David Osei further revealed he decided to join his colleagues in Kumasi to deface the notion or perception that he is arrogant.

Currently, Van Vicker, Prince David Osei, Juliet Ibrahim, Lil Win, Kwaku Manu, Christiana Awuni among others are on set in Kumasi shooting a new movie.
