I knew Stonebwoy had a bright future - DJ Black

Joy Fm’s Dj Black seems to be too happy about the rise and rise of BET award winner Stonebwoy.

For sometime now, Stonebwoy has been the talk of town, releasing hit songs, playing shows upon shows, award upon awards and more.

Stonebwoy over the weekend won 2 awards at this year’s VGMAs; Reggae dancehall song of the year and Reggae dancehall artiste of the year and also on the night stun the audience with one sterling performance.

Dj Black who was one of the hosts on the night took to his Instagram platform after the awards and disclosed that he remember seeing Stonebwoy at ‘bless the mic’ as a raw talent and even in front of almost an empty room but based on what he saw that day, he knew definitely Stonebwoy would blew up big one day.

He posted, “I remember when I saw this chap at #blessthemic a raw talent performing infront of almost an empty room, and I knew one day it would be infront of a large crowd and I was right . @stonebwoyb".

Bless the Mic is a platform that provides a consistent avenue for emerging and established artistes to share their talents, hone their skills, and network with industry professions.
