I have a degree but I love beauty therapy - Nana Ama Atsu

Award winning makeup artiste Nana Ama Atsu-Agbomanyi says though she holds a degree in Business Administration from one of the reputable universities in Ghana, she has a keen interest in beauty therapy and that is the job that makes her happy.

The Chief Executive of DZIDZIS, located at Sakumono in Accra, has been offering beauty services including Make-up, Hair Styling and Spa treatment to some top notch celebrities on and off set.

According to Miss Atsu-Agbomanyi, adding glamour to the faces of her clients and offering them a haven of respite at her Spa brings her a lot of joy.

“Doing this came naturally and I feel it’s been long but professionally I will say I have been in the beauty industry for five years. I derive a lot of pleasure in my choice of passion. Adding glamour to the faces of my clients and offering them haven of respite in my day spa brings me a lot of joy. I get paid for my work so I think this passion is truly worth giving my all,” she stated.

Nana Ama Atsu-Agbomanyi won two awards—Best Cinematography and Best Make-Up & Hair Styling—at the just ended Ghana Movie Awards (GMA) for her works in the movie ‘Double Cross’.

She graduated from the University of Ghana in 2013 with a BSc. in Administration (Marketing).

‘Double Cross’ is expected to be premiered at Silverbird cinemas and West Hills malls on February 6.
