I feel like a virgin performing at 'The Artiste' concert - Wanluv

On the 28th January 2017, Wanluv performed at the first in its series, the Nubuke Foundation’s ‘The Artiste’ concert.

The theme for the event was ‘Bringing the focus back to the artist and the music’.

It was a very unique musical event, which had the artiste perform for solid two hours. Unlike the regular musical concerts that line up different artistes and in most cases these artistes perform a few of their hit songs, this ‘The Artiste’ concert focuses on one particular artiste at a time so the artiste is able to perform as many songs as they can within the two hours.

After the event Ghanaweb caught up with him and asked him how he felt as an artiste especially being the very first to perform at ‘The Artiste’ concert.

Wanluv jokingly responded that he felt like a virgin and admittedly so because he is the first to perform at the maiden event, but most importantly he said the event was meant to focus on the artiste so that one is could dig into the mind, catalogue and presentation of the artiste. He said it was a good platform for artistes to discover and challenge themselves more.
