Guru must win award at 2016 VGMA – Rossy

Rossy Rossy

Outspoken entertainment pundit and publicist, Rosemond Larweh popularly known as Rossy, has added her voice to the numerous showbiz enthusiasts who believe hiplife music sensation, Guru should win an award at this year's Vodafone Ghana music Awards (VGMA).

Guru, has been extremely active in the music scene, continuously releasing hits after hits but has failed to win an award even in instances which were evident he deserved to win certain categories.

Expressing her candid opinion on Guru's predicament, Rossy emphatically revealed to seancitygh.com that,it would be suicidal if organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award fails to award Guru

"I just can't comprehend why Guru is being treated like that. This talented young man has over the years worked assiduously by releasing hits and yet organizers of the VGMA have constantly failed to compliment his efforts.

"Sometimes, I am tempted to believe other artistes bribe the organizers as being alleged. Honestly speaking, it would be very suicidal if Guru fails to win an award. It would be a trauma that would take me years to heal," Rossy said.

She further argued that Guru, apart from being a talented and hardworking artist, has lived an exemplary life.

She pleaded with the Creative Arts Ministry to generously award Guru for his "Education for All project" through which he has so far shared over 30,OOO books and pens to pupils in Accra, Cape Coast and in Takoradi.

Rossy is yet to be confirmed as a permanent female pundit on the popular entertainment radio talk show, “Hot and Classic Showbiz Review” on Hot 93.9fm in Accra, which comes off every Saturday.
