Ghanaian expatriate begs for money to support Omanhene Pozo

Mark Darlington Osae, a Ghanaian music producer based in UK has started an online campaign to generate funds for Omanhene Pozo.

The sound engineer who has started the crusade on Facebook is calling on all Ghanaians living in and outside the country to help save the musician who is currently on admission at the Neuro Surgical Ward of the 37 Military Hospital.

Mr. Osae in an interview with Zionfelix.com Tuesday afternoon from his London-based apartment said he thought it wise to help the musician due to the condition he finds himself at the moment. According to him, he has known Omanhene Pozo for years so he could not give blind eyes and deaf ears to stories that his old time friend needs help.

“I was shocked when I heard the news. And after speaking to his family. I decided to do my little to help. I know Pozo very well as I was involved when Nananom started.

I used to visit his house and Nananom and sometimes they come to my house to rehearse. When Pozo was in London, I hosted him at my house too.”

He continued that “I have not got a figure in mind” but family members of the musician have informed him he will need a little over Gh30,000 to undergo a successful brain surgery.
