GUL Dinner/Dance Moments In London

On Saturday, March 17th, President Kufour graced a well-attended dinner
dance organized by the Ghana Union London UK in conjunction with the Ghana
High Commission UK at the Ibis Hotel in London to celebrate the golden
jubilee. Among the dignitaries included The First Lady, Mrs Theresa Kufuor,
Professor Daniel Adzei-Bekoe, Chairman of the Council of State and Madam Ama
Busia, member of the Council of State, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo,
Minister of Foreign Affaris and NEPAD, Mr Kwamena Bartels, Minister of
Information and National Orientation and Mr Isaac Osei, Chief Executive of
the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) former Ghana's Ambassador to the UK. Mr.
Osei also highly regarded by Ghanaians in UK as great public servant
aka 'The People's Man' who always left his door opened to them was also the
star of the evening besides the President. Many guests rushed to greet
this honourable man and also had the privilege of taking pictures with him.
