'Epixode deserved VGMA nominations' - Jupitar

Ghanaian dancehall crooner Mikel Mint known in showbiz circles as Jupitar has named his colleague dancehall musician Epixode as one of the artistes who was liable to grab nominations at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Award.

Jupitar who was interviewed on Rythmz Live show on GhOne Tv this afternoon 21st March told the host Berla Mundi that Epixode's name should have been found in the Reggae/Dancehall Song category of the nomination list.

The "Enemies" hitmaker answered this to a question Berla Mundi asked concerning which dancehall artistes qualified for nominations in that category.

He said: " Epixode should have been nominated for the Reggae/Dancehall song category but I don't know whether he filed for nominations or not.

The 2017 VGMA Reggae/Dancehall Song Category entailed songs like Yonnah by Samini, People Dey by Stonebwoy, Arostor by Kaakie, Kupe by Ebony ,Nwansena by Ras Kuuku, Gborborvor by Galaxy.
