Accra, Feb 12, GNA - An Accra Circuit Court on Thursday imposed a fined of 1.2 million cedis on John Amelor, a Driver for careless driving, negligently causing harm and failing to report an accident. Amelor pleaded guilty to the charges.

The court presided over Mr Emmanuel Ankamah ruled that 600,000 cedis of the fine if paid should be given to Mr Salormey Agyei, 49, who was the victim of the accident.

Amelor would go to jail for six months if he failed to pay the fine.
