Tonto Dikeh has advised against living extravagant lifestyles and “trying to impress others who don’t actually care about you”. She rather enjoined individuals to strive to make a difference by extending a helping hand to the needy.
The beautiful actress who doubles as women and children advocate took to her Instagram to urge fans to rejoice in giving than wasting time and money on things that has no meaning or blessings.
“Trying to impress people who don't care about us with stuff we don't need, for reasons we don't know... I have spent the last few years of my life trying to do right for the children who need my time, guidance, resourcefulness and help and I have found out that there is only so much material rubbish you can buy. There are only so many times you can go to the club, get drunk and have meaningless sex with people you don't like/or people who aren't right for you, for reasons you can never tell,” she said in her post.
The elegant Nigerian actress who indicated that she’s unsure who is reading her post stressed the need to focus on helping people.
“Do good for others, spread love, look after the children (The less privileged) and give your life in service to God,” she said.
She added that the key things that guarantees hope, happiness, purpose and meaning to life is giving to the less privileged.
