#BigBroAfrica: Jackie Appiah and OC Ukeje speak AMVCAs

Nicknamed “the eyes and smile of Ghana”, the gorgeous Jackie Appiah graced the Big Brother Africa Live stage alongside fellow actor OC Ukeje.

Both winners of the inaugural AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCAs), which were hosted by our very own IK, the duo took to the hot red seat on the Big Brother Africa stage.

The AMVCA Best Actor, OC Ukeje dished out a few tips on making it big in the film industry. Jackie was also a guest judge during the Movie Task Presentations on Thursday with another award-winning actor, Akin Omotoso.

Asked how she felt about having all the Big Brother Africa cameras around her in the House on Thursday night, Jackie said it was a bit uncomfortable but she eased into it fast because they were not in her face.

The second AMVCA will take place on 8 March 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria. All films, made-for-television movies or television series are eligible or entry to the AMVCA if they were produced and broadcast or publicly exhibited during the period of 1st May 2012 to September 30 2013.
