‘Be Bold’, new Banky W featuring M.I video and more on Studio 53 Extra

The line-up for Studio 53 Extra this week includes an interesting and exciting number of features such as the fashion extravaganza for the launch of ‘BE Bold’ in Ghana. Representing on the runway were Ekop Fashions Limited, Kabengo Jewellery, Ajepomaa Design Gallery, Capture, Nana Amu Fleischer-Djoleto, Yom, Yvette Nsiah Gyimah, Honey Bee, Knaf Couture and Mina Evans.

Also on the show, there is more from the MTV Music Awards in Lagos; fashion from the front row at the Angolan fashion week, a countdown of the top most memorable red carpet moments in 2010; the Star mega jam concert starring R Kelly and the best in Nigerian music; and as usual there is more scoop on what is happening in Hollywood and across Africa.

There is also fresh photography brewed in Ghana and beauty, fashion and bling all under one roof! Studio53 features the talented siblings Renee (ReneeQ) and Rodney (RQV) at the launch of their new premises in Accra. Rodney’s passion for photography began with photographs of family and friends and has evolved from a hobby to a profession in which he continues to create a niche for himself especially in the areas of wedding, fashion and portraiture. ReneeQ was born in 2006, out of the effort to offer women in Ghana a home-grown alternative to their current ideas of beauty & style.

There are more lifestyle issues on the line-up with the launch of Brutal Fruits’ new Cranberry flavour in South Africa. Brand ambassadors Kim and Khloe Kardashian were flown in to join in on the fun. There is also Fab Magazine’s ‘Fab Night Out’ which showcased Africa’s best in fashion, music and lifestyle; as well as the latest music video from Nigerian music star Banky W featuirng M.I.

Tune into Studio53 on Thursday the 20th and Sunday the 23rd
