Bamboo grooves serve as hub of entertainment

Vakpo (V/R), April 18, GNA - Bamboo grooves wherever they are found in Ghana are only good for exploitation to the point of extinction, thus undermining the eco-system that they help to maintain and sustain.

On the contrary, Mr George Sikah, an upstart in the entertainment business has found a way of preserving one of such grooves by developing this natural asset into an entertainment spot. A few metres from Vakpo on the way to Anfoega and hidden behind the Glory Oil filling station, could be found a natural world of bamboo grooves transformed into an unimaginable spot for relaxation and entertainment.

Any first time visitor to this haven of natural serenity of fresh breeze and whistling world of bamboo cannot help but melt into the world of nature in its pure state.

That was the enchantment that greeted patrons to the spot on the night of Easter Monday, where there was a perfect marriage between the artificial world of music and nature. No doubt many young couples in and around have seen it as a warm and safe nest from the world of hustle and bustle. The idyllic atmosphere was accentuated by partial darkness and light providing couples with privacy to dance, drink and reminisce a romantic night.

Mr Sikah told some Journalists, who visited the spot on Easter Monday that he has plans to develop the potentials of the place with time without sacrificing its naturalness.
