Atumpan back from the UK & collaborates with Samini on "Regina"

Afro beats super star and 2013 BEFFTA international act winner Atumpan is back to his homeland after a long spell plying his sensational trade in the Uk to collaborate with the self acclaimed African Dancehall King Samini on his new joint “Regina”. “@TalkingDrum_: #NewMusic @AtumpanGh ft @Samini_dagaati Droppin this Friday #ANYEEIIII &#HighGrade"madd ting..mark it on da hi street akye..” He wrote this on his alternate twitter account.

The 2013 MOBO Nominee confirmed that in an interview saying, “Samini and I have collaborated on my new single (Regina) and it`s more like a dancehall afrobeats style and its gonna move higher heights”.

Atumpan also stressed a bit on his upcoming project confessing that he is in Ghana to do more songs and collaborations and also to remain a household name in the Ghana Music Industry and beyond although he is making it big in the UK. “I have a lot of songs to do here in Ghana along with collabos which I can’t give names now. I want to get my name back in the higher ranks in the Ghana Music Industry even though I made it good in the UK”.

The “Clap Clap” singer rebutted to the questions raised concerning his new single (Regina) as he is always tagged with controversial songs or songs which relates to sex and this was what he got to say.

“Regina as a song talks about a girl I had a crush on immediately I saw her and I intend making a wife and there is nothing controversial about this and that also doesn’t make me a womanizer. I also wanna thank my big brother Samini for laying his sweet lyrics to boost the song.

The new single “Regina” is the first audio “the thing” hitmaker will be releasing in this 2014 showbiz calendar produced by young energetic Mixmaster Garzy.
