Afi Antonio denies relationship with Kofi Adjorlolo

30-year-old photo model, Afi Antonio, has denied reports that she is in a relationship with ace actor Kofi Adjorlolo.

The supposed relationship made headlines two weeks ago, suggesting that Adjorlolo was in love with a sexy model, barely two years after the death of his wife.

The story also claimed that Afi and Adjorlolo could be getting married before the year ends.

But speaking to Viasat1NewsOnline in an exclusive interview, Wednesday, the model bluntly denied the report. “We’re not getting married, just good pals."

Afi said she met Kofi almost a year ago when she used to work with Prime FM. “I called him into the show, and after the interview, he took my number. We started talking, and we have become very good friends since then,” she narrated.

Afi also disclosed that the actor had invited her to be on set with him a few times. Before taking up modeling, she confided in him, and he gave her all the support and encouragement she needed.

Afi further said Adjorlolo is like a father to her, and although he has expressed interest of taking the relationship to another level, she has turned down the move, because she is in a committed relationship and cannot risk it.

Afi recently invited Kofi Adjorlolo on the Celebrity Delivery TV Show which is currently being recorded. The concept of the show is to use celebrities to deliver messages or gifts on behalf of their fans.

“He was to deliver a gift to my mother in Teshie; so the relationship rumour started when people in the area saw him going to see my mother.” Afi said she called the actor when the story came out, but he laughed it off and jokingly said he would not deny it if he is asked about it.”

Afi's boyfriend received the information from friends who had read the story online, and was initially affected, but according to Afi, everything is alright now.

Aside modelling, Afi Antonio works with Rackus Production, organisers of the Bass Awards. She is being managed by Bull Dog of Bullhaus Entertainment.
