Rapper Okyeame Kwame, who recently received a special honour from former US president Obama, has unveiled details for this year’s edition of his intimate concert OK Stripped.

Slated for the plush +233 Bar and Grill, organisers look to curate a rich night of dance, comedy, poetry and music.

Adina and FlowKing Stone, who picked up laurels at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, look to render truly award-winning performances come April 28.

Dancehall singer MzVee (the only female nominee for the coveted prize of Artist of the Year) has also been announced for the concert. Highlife gem Kwabena Kwabena, new kid Abochi, as well as the dependable Patch Bay Band will all represent as well.

Active since 1999, Kwame Nsiah- Appau (as he’s privately known) is widely regarded a forerunner when it comes to music brands: possessing a perfect balance between mainstream acclaim and corporate appeal.

Handled by brand experts Firm Bridges, he recently launched his brand book, a never-before seen effort by Ghanaian artists. The launch was graced and lauded by such industry heavyweights as veteran broadcasters KKD, Bola Ray, and a host of others.

An OK Music brainchild, the gig is scheduled to start t 8 pm, and runs till late. Sponsors include Urbano Hotel, TXT Ghana, and 4SYTE TV.

Okyeame Kwame is set to release his new album Made In Ghana in coming months, and his recent single Saucing (featuring kids Sir and Sante), are among top trending tunes in the country currently.
