Actress Beverly Afaglo In a Dilemma Over ‘Choir Master’

Sweet looking Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo is lost in her own world as to where her relationship with Praye Honeho aka “Choir Master” (real name Eugene Baah) a member of the hiplife trio Praye, is heading to.

The actress looked rather confused and uncertain when she was asked on TV about her intimacy with the singer.

Beverly who appeared on the “Late Night Celebrity Show” on e-TV was put on the spot when host of the show Dzifa Smith, read a question sent by a viewer via SMS. The question read: “Beverly is it true you are going out with Eugene of Praye?” Beverly smiled and took a few seconds, before she reluctantly answered “Yes”.

Another viewer sent to ask her when she and Eugene are going to get married and Beverly answered “Well I don’t know. You know when two people like each other and they are in love and they stay together for sometime, the next thing expected from them is to get married, and the dream of every lady in that situation is to get married. So for now, I can’t tell whether we are going get married or when are going to married; lets wait and see”.

After her passionate answer to the rather personal question, a female viewer sent an SMS to the show, stating that she (the viewer) knows for a fact that Beverly and Eugene have split, so why is she (Beverly) lying to Ghanaians live on TV that she is still dating him when they are no more together? When it was her turn to react to the viewer’s comment, Beverly said:

“I don’t want to talk about this I don’t have anything to say. No comment!” Sensational Reggae singer Iwan, who was also on the show, asked her why she doesn’t want to talk about it, Beverly said “Because there is nothing to say, I don’t have anything to say. I don’t know where this is coming from”.

Meanwhile the “Prince's Bride” actress, who recently won the Terracotta Best Actress in Comedy award in Nigeria told Hi Newspaper: “Eugene and I had had bad times when people thought our relationship had hit the rock, but we ended up stronger.”

On the show, Beverly also confirmed the assertion that some movie producers have sex with actresses in ex-change for movie roles.

“It happens because some producers think they are doing you a favour. They tell you they are going to make you a star among other promises. So if you want to come on TV, if you are very desperate, if you are not doing anything and all you think about is how to be a star in the next minute, you give in to those producers. But if you know your goal and you have focus, you wouldn’t do that. So it happens and I guess it happens everywhere,” she disclosed.

Beverly was born in Tema and she landed her first movie role in ‘Return of Beyonce’. Before this she presented a fashion TV program “Beauty and Style” on Metro TV. If she is not acting she runs ‘Glamour Beauty Salon’ at Tema Community 9.

She has been going out with Eugene for four years now. The celebrity lovers have been spotted at several public events and private places. Eugene is the most versatile member of “Praye”, he sings, raps and plays more than three musical instruments, and he loves watching TV, writing and drawing.
