A touch of kaftan this season

Gone are the days when men were less concerned as to how to look good and stylish anytime, thinking it was the responsibility of women to spend lavishly on outfits in a bid to look good.
But interestingly the status-quo has practically changed as recent surveys and reports have proven that most men are ready to fork out whopping sums of money on outfits just to look great and presentable.
Most men would now have no problems going in for kaftans, though, it is hugely expensive. What is more important to them is how smart and comfortable they would look in that kind of apparel. However, some men still have the taste for the usual material trouser and shirt.
Previously kaftans were regarded as strictly Islamic women’s clothing. Today it is regarded as a wardrobe essential by a cross section of people, from celebrities to ‘wannabe fashionistas’.
Kaftans originated from the Middle East, but kaftans have now taken Africa and the Western fashion by storm in recent times.
Lately, women are rubbing shoulders with the men because the loose cut is perfect for hiding problem areas such as a bulging waistline, unsightly bat wings and big untoned thighs.
For the ladies, kaftans can be designed to create a more feminine and shape-enhancing outfits, cinched at the waistline to emphasize the body curves. Those that are embellished are better worn without any accessories especially since they can be used to show off a graceful neck, so watch out that you do not over accessorize.
For the men who are not good in the selection of costumes, kaftans have been made to reduce stress and have an amazing look. Kaftans can be made in different styles, some simply tailored, but others come with complete embellishments on the neck. The plain kaftans can be paired with accessories.
For a casual day, kaftans are best worn with flat sandals. When attending a function, put your foot forward and pair your kaftan with high heel shoes or flat shoes. Kaftan can be worn to funerals, weddings, parties and work depending on how is been made.
