S-Poly NPP TESCON congratulates Kufuor

Sunyani (B/A), Dec. 13, GNA - The Sunyani Polytechnic Branch of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy (TESCON) of the New Patriotic Party has congratulated President John Agyekum Kufuor on his re-election for another four- year term of office in the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

A congratulatory message addressed to President Kufuor was jointly signed by Messrs Djan Martin, Akwasi Owusu Afrifa-Mensah and Annye Ofori Alfred, who are the Branch's President, Co-ordinator and Secretary respectively said, the victory was due to President Kufuor's hard work, humility, high sense of duty, level-headedness, God-fearing and visionary leadership.

"We TESCON of NPP, Sunyani Polytechnic branch believe that the President and the NPP government would continue the good works to improve upon the living standards of all Ghanaians", the statement added.

In another development, the NPP TESCON has also congratulated the election and re-election of the party's Members of Parliament (MP) in the parliamentary race in the region.

The message stated, "Your success have been possible due to the confidence the people in your constituencies reposed in you. We believe that, with this confidence, you will not relent on your efforts to do your best for their welfare and development".

The message urged the new and old MPs to work hard to improve on the living standards of the people in their constituencies in particular and the people of Ghana as a whole.
