NPP MEMBERS URGED TO REGISTER.

Mr Kwame Pianin, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on party members and supporters to register massively when the voters' register opens in September this year.

He said the political barometer points towards NPP's victory in the 1996 presidential and parliamentary elections and that it was only when party members register that the victory will come.

Mr Panin said instead of taking the country on a sound economy keel, the NDC embarked on free-spending policy, depleting the nation's coffers and achieved for Ghana a reputation of being among the leading money-borrowing countries in the world.

In his contribution,Yaw Osafo Marfo, another leading member of the party, armed with the Auditor-General's Report, catalogued government's spending on projects and programmes which he said were not in the best interest of the nation.
