    The Bank of Ghana should do Background checks on Fidelity Bank. Many things do not support its public posture.

    With this state of the country it will happen. Next year will be even worse under Mahama, people will be sacked from work. Change is coming

    Really true.
    Additionally i think operating expenses are now so high considering the economic crisis i.e dumsor, high taxes, high Non PerformingLoans etc.

    The workers are been exploited because there is no union to negotiate good n reasonable packages for them.just basic pay instead of the gloss stipulated in the contracts of staff.its peanut of package.

    To protect the banks image the heading should be reform.

    ALL THOSE TINY NIGERIAN SAVINGS AND LOANS COMPANIES THAT PACKED BAG AND BAGAGE WITH 10 MILLION DOLLARS IN THEIR KITTY ARE NOW CONGLOMERATES DUE TO SHALLOW GHANA MINDED GHANA " GOVERNMENT" BORROWING. GOD SAVE US!

    its not only d banking sector which is undergoing restructuring, manufacturing concerns are doing likewise. Does this government listen at all?

    yes 90% of the staff laid off are ProCredit workers.
