How about the judges who are delibrately sentencing fowl thieves to 20yrs in prison whilst big time corrupt politians and judges bost of their riches? There is more to this case than a simple mad man attenting to assasinate the president and everybody knows it. Prof. Asare must look into himself before asking for the judge to be sacked. Ghana can't do away with corruption because of judges who take bribes and dismiss or sweep cases under the carpet. This can only take place in Ghana where so-called democracy and freedom of speech is totally misplaced and misunderstood.

A mad man whose aim is to shoot and kill a president should be kept out of the society, and that is what the judge attempted to do, but he erred in legal principles. That error should not be perceived by lawyers as more devastating than an attempt by a so-called mad man to assassinate a president of a nation.
