I think a woman can be firmer and more reliable than a man, with apologies to L.V. Lamptey (the former Chrag boss), Betty Mould-Iddrisu and Vic Hammah.
We only must be careful not to choose an inexperienced youngish person because she's a woman and not let her looks blindfold us. I think the president himself has a wife already. Otherwise let's choose a woman. No more man.

I am sure if half of the people commenting and defending this government held them accountable, they would perform better. The fact that they haven't done so in the past doesn't mean we shouldn't make our voices heard. Kudos to this group for making their choice known.

President Kufour performed this function without any issue in the case of the deputies. Whoever is appointed is not a guarantee that candidate A or B will be favoured. EC members work as a team.Go and convince the electorates to vote for you. Elections are won at the polling stations not the EC headquarters or Supreme Court. I am fed up with ignoramuses exhibiting their stock-in-trade daily on the airwaves. Complacency can lead to disaster if not checked.
